Calzone Jones Bids Adieu to Brown County


Calzone Jones was a unique eatery located in an historic building one block off the main drag in beautiful Nashville, Indiana. One of Brown County’s best-loved restaurants, Calzone Jones was known as much for the delectable meals and warm, personal service as it was the boisterous outbursts of entertainment emanating from behind the counter.

But all good things (and nice places) must sooner or later come to an end. We came to a point where it made sense to close up shop, call it a day, and move on to other ventures. We know our many loyal customers and fans are disappointed, and we want to express our deep gratitude to each and every patron who walked through the door over the years. Calzone Jones had a great run, and the support of our customer base made it all possible. Thanks so much!

The maistro in the kitchen, Mr. Frank Jones, is not only a trained chef who loves making great-tasting dishes for folks, but is also well-known in these parts as a gifted singer, songwriter and entertainer. It is true he routinely plays guitar upside down and backwards. While illegal in some states, folks in Nashville forgive him this, mostly because Frank's so darned much fun to be around.
